Cass County ESD #4 Uses Grant to Purchase New Engine

CCESD #4 is proud to announce that we have acquired a new fire truck that started in service to our district on January 10, 2026. We were able to purchase this new truck with a grant that was provided by the Texas A&M Forest Service. CCESD #4 is committed to providing the best equipment and service as possible to our community.

CCESD4 Members attend SAFE-D Conference 2024

Members of the Board of Commissioners attended the SAFE-D Conference in Irving Texas February 23 ^rd and 24 ^th for required education, training, and networking with other ESD’s in our region and across Texas.

What is SAFE-D? SAFE-D is the only organization dedicated to helping the men and women of Texas Emergency Services Districts. provide fire protection and emergency medical services to more than 10 million Texans. You can learn more about SAFE-D here https://www.safe-d.org/about-safe-d/ .

Conference Topics included areas such as ESD Policies and Procedures, ESD Board ana Fire Chief Partnership, Strategic Planning, and Community Risk Reduction. Your CCESD4 Board of Commissioners are working hard to make our district the most efficient and safe as possible.

Big Day for CCESD4!

CCESD4 Fire Station Improvements

February 20th marks a big day for CCESD4. We are having spray foam insulation put in today. We have previously repaired the roof and building walls with new siding. Next week we are having the automatic doors installed. Nove of this could have been possible without the support of our members and most of all our community. We are also doing upgrades to our Kildare station so be on the watch for those pictures soon. Thank you for all the support and dedication to keep the VFD running.

Grass Fire Danger Statement

The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Danger Statement...Not a burn ban...but Please do not burn with the dryness and the winds, it could cost someone you know or you. (A weather statement is an unofficial product issued within an individual National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office (WFO) area and is used generally for inclement weather falling below or approaching watch, warning or advisory criteria.)

National Night Out 2022

CCESD#4 Supports National Night Out

National Night Out banners went up at the Cass County Law Enforcement and Justice Center where the National Night Out will be held on October 4, 2022. 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The Cass County Elected Officials and the City of Linden Officials invite you to come and be a part of this community endeavor. Please mark your calendars and come visit with us.
